In this article we will continue our discussion of the chakras, focusing now on ideas, concepts and processes that involve the balance and crystallization of the chakras.  Balance and crystallization of the chakras involves gaining more spiritual understanding and wisdom and learning to rise to your highest potential for the greatest good.

We will also return to the topic of the entire spiritual energy system that we introduced in Article 200 and cover the flow of spiritual energy through the entire system in more detail.  We will then cover some side points about chakras including seed sounds, vowel sounds, chakra geometry and the chakras as related to the musical scale.

We will start here by discussing the crystallization of the chakras.  This crystallization occurs when each chakra becomes unblocked and balanced as each entity gains in spiritual understanding and wisdom.

This crystallization is another word for the chakras taking on geometric form, much like a beautiful ordered crystal.  This crystallization occurs in each chakra, and though there are common patterns for each chakra, they will always vary in detail, color, movement and brilliance for each individual.

Always recall that chakras are ‘wheels of light’.  Light is geometric in nature, so as this light becomes more ordered or coherent, it begins to take on more of its fundamental nature – that is, it becomes more geometric in nature and can form incredibly beautiful rotating crystallized geometries that can be seen by the eyes of those who train themselves to see.

Much of the following information is from The Law of One, unless otherwise stated.

Crystallization of the Chakras

In the first three energy centers a full unblocking of energy will create speeds of rotation.

As the entity develops the higher energy centers, however, these centers will then begin to express their nature by forming crystal structures.

This is the higher or more balanced form of activation of energy centers as the space/time nature of this energy is transmuted to the time/space nature of regularization and balancing.

Each of the energy centers of the physical complex may be seen to have a distinctive crystalline structure in the more developed entity.

Each will be somewhat different just as in your world no two snowflakes are alike.  However, each is regular.

  • Red – often in the shape of the spoked wheel
  • Orange – often in the flower shape containing three petals
  • Yellow – often in a rounded shape, many faceted, as a star
  • Green – sometimes called the lotus shape, the number of points of crystalline structure dependent upon the strength of this center
  • Blue – capable of having perhaps one hundred facets and capable of great flashing brilliance
  • Indigo – more quiet center which has the basic triangular or three-petaled shape in many, although some adepts who have balanced the lower energies may create more faceted forms
  • Violet – the least variable and is sometimes described in your philosophy as thousand-petaled as it is the sum of the mind/body/spirit complex distortion totality.

Now compare those shapes with the traditional chakra shapes of the Vedic/Hindu tradition:

“In Hindu philosophy” Robert Lawlor tell us “there are four components constituting the mind, and each contributes a specialized mode of perception, cognition and intelligence.  The four are the chakras, the meridians, the KA field and the brain.  In this conceptualization one would say, ‘The mind does not simply reside inside the brain – but inversely, the brain and body reside within the mind.'”

In the ancient Vedic tradition the chakras are referred to by their Sanskrit names:

  • Red – Muladhara
  • Orange – Svadhishthana
  • Yellow – Manipura
  • Green – Anahata
  • Blue – Vishuddha
  • Indigo – Ajna
  • Violet – Sahasrara

Incidentally, the ancient Hindu saints (adepts, mystics, visionaries, or seers) called Rishis, were the ones who it is supposed counted all 72,000 nadis (subtle energy channels) of the spiritual energy system.  These are the same who were able to ‘see’ the chakras and determine a basic pattern of their form.  However, it is always important to remember that these are basic symbols and in reality, these forms always vary from individual to individual, though retaining their basic pattern and color scheme.

These Rishis were well aware of the geometric nature that underlies all in reality and were able to discern it in the entire spiritual system surrounding the human body, and each individual chakra as well.

A Rishi is “one who reaches beyond this mundane world by means of spiritual knowledge.”  In order for one to attain this state of wisdom, understanding and balance, one must first become a seeker.  That is, one must begin their journey by seeking or thirsting for truth and then attempt to discover that truth in their own way and time.

The seeker must then become the adept.  An adept is one who is very skilled or proficient at something, in this case, highly skilled at the spiritual arts – which are those of compassion, understanding, wisdom, and co-creation.

Mark Booth, in The Secret History of the World writes, “The ancient Hindu adepts “understood how sinking deep into contemplation of the solar plexus chakra enabled them to perceive clairvoyantly.  And they knew how to wrap others in a protective beam of love emanating from the heart chakra.

In addition to the sixteen petals of the heart chakra, the adepts saw 101 subtle and luminous arteries issuing from the same area like spokes from a wheel.  Three of these larger ones they saw rising to the head.  One rises to the right eye and corresponds to the sun and the future.  Another rises to the left eye and corresponds to the moon and the past.  They understood how it was by a combination of these two organs that humans are enabled to perceive the movements of material objects in relation to one another in space and so also to have a sense of time passing.

The middle of the three arteries ran up from the heart and through the crown of the head.  By this route, the way upwards is illumined from below, by means of a radiant heart.  And it was by the route of this middle artery, too, that the spirit would depart up through the crown and out of the body at death.

To the ancients all life was involved in a pulse, rhythm or breath.  They saw all human lives as breathed temporarily into the world of maya, or illusion, then breathed out again, a process repeated through the ages.  They saw great flocks or shoals of souls being breathed in and out of material life together…

The Rishis taught that the evolution of the whole cosmos is the goal of existence, and that the seeds of all this transformation lie in the human body.”

The Seeker Becoming the Adept

Each entity is the Creator.

The seeker becomes the adept when it has balanced with minimal adequacy the energy centers red, orange, yellow, and blue with the addition of the green for the positive, thus moving into indigo work.

The adept then begins to do less of the preliminary or outer work, having to do with function, and begins to affect the inner work which has to do with being.

As the adept becomes a more and more consciously crystallized entity it gradually manifests more and more of that which it always has been since before time; that is, the One Infinite Creator.

Chakra Balancing

Now we will move into a discussion of how to balance the chakras.  This is the key work of chakras.  When balanced, an individual will become healthy, loving and wise, among other beautiful qualities.  Of course, a perfect balance is rare, but the work is the process of balancing to the utmost possibility.

This balancing of the chakras is work done within the consciousness – that is, within the mind and heart.  It involves working with your own emotions, thoughts, beliefs, judgments, criticisms, expectations and so forth.

It is not just visualizing light or moving around light.  Working with the chakras means you are confronting your own emotions and thoughts – negative or positive.  Each emotion or thought is related to a certain chakra, so in balancing your thoughts and emotions and understanding their sources and motivations, you will automatically be balancing your chakras.

Many get hung up on this individual work, saying that people shouldn’t focus on the balance of their chakras, but should focus on helping others in one way or another.

The thing is, when a person is balanced – that is, when their chakras are balanced – that means they are emotionally balanced.  That means they have balanced intuition with rational thinking and wisdom with compassion.  They have healed and transformed any trauma, issues, regrets, guilt, fears or psychological baggage they might have had.

When one does this, they are automatically able to help others.  They are more able to see clearly how, when and where they can do the most help without doing damage, and they are able to serve clearly for the greatest good without accidentally manipulating or trying to control others to do as they say.

This inner work is of extreme importance.  When a person is healed and healthy they have more energy to help and they can help without doing accidental damage and without wearing themselves out so they are no longer useful.

This is not self-centered work.  This is universal work for the greatest good of all.  This is healing and transformation that each must do within their own consciousness in order to learn how to better serve the greatest good with the greatest amount of compassion, wisdom and balance.  The key, as always, is harmony – and in this case harmonizing inner work with outer work – or knowing when to focus on your own healing and when to focus on helping others heal.

Balancing the Chakras

Each balance is perfect and each unique.  Each individual has a different balance.  Each must find their own and not base it upon another’s.

The fully activated being is rare.  It is rare that an individual can fully activate all seven chakras.

Much emphasis is laid upon the harmonies and balances of individuals.  Balance is far, far, far more important and helpful than trying to fully activate a chakra or a set of chakras.

To fully activate each energy center is the mastery of few, for each center has a variable speed of rotation or activity.

The important observation to be made once all necessary centers are activated to the minimal necessary degree is the harmony and balance between these energy centers.

It is not necessary for the energy centers to be activated in order in the case of the self-aware entity.  Thus, entities may have extremely brilliant energy centers while being quite unbalanced in their violet-ray aspect due to lack of attention paid to the totality of experience of the entity.

The key to balance may then be seen in the unstudied, spontaneous, and honest response of entities toward experiences, thus using experience to the utmost, then applying the balancing exercises and achieving the proper attitude for the most purified spectrum of energy center manifestation in violet ray.

This is why the brilliance or rotational speed of the energy centers is not considered above the balanced aspect or violet-ray manifestation of an entity in regarding graduation across densities; for those entities which are unbalanced, especially as to the primary rays, will not be capable of sustaining the impact of the love and light of intelligent infinity to the extent necessary for graduation.

Anodea Judith writes, “Focus, relaxation, and opening are the first steps to take for both deficient and excessive chakras.  Stubborn blocks take time to move – and the material itself may bring up previously buried issues, stirring emotions and memories. Be compassionate with yourself. Allow the journey to unfold pleasurably into the deepest nature of your being.”

An Example of Balanced Chakras:

In a particular entity, the rays may be viewed as extremely even, red, orange, yellow.

The green ray is extremely bright.

This is balanced by a dimmer indigo.

Between these two the point of balance resides, the blue ray of the communicator sparkling in strength above the ordinary.

In the violet ray we see this unique spectrograph and at the same time the pure violet surrounding the whole; this in turn, surrounded by that which mixes the red and violet ray, indicating the integration of mind, body, and spirit; this surrounded in turn by the vibratory pattern of this entity’s true density.

There is not properly a tiny fraction of judgment when viewing a balance in colors.  This means each balance is beautiful and none should be judged or condescended to because of different brightness/dimness.  Each balance is perfect and deserves not even a tiny fraction of judgment, but full acceptance and gratitude.

You have all bodies in potentiation.

These are:

  • Red – Chemical Body
  • Orange – Physical Body complex (mind/body)
  • Yellow – Physical vehicle (Mind/body/spirit)
  • Green – Astral Body
  • Blue – Devachanic (Light) Body
  • Indigo – Etheric (Gateway) Body
  • Violet – Buddha Body (That which is complete)

Each of these bodies has an effect upon your mind/body/spirit complex in your life beingness.

The interrelationships are many and complex.

These bodies can be likened to energetic shells of quantized energy that surround each body or life form.  These bodies are in potentiation until they are activated.  They relate to the quantized shells that we discuss in the science section that surround each atom, molecule, plant, animal, human, planet, star and galaxy.

Each layer corresponds to a different Platonic solid geometry.  These were briefly mentioned in the previous article.  Remember, these geometric shells are standing waves formed form interference patterns that result from the continual fluctuation between time/space and space/time.  Each shell has its own frequency, wavelength and harmonics and corresponds to the qualities discussed in detail in the last article.

As we discuss in the Geometry section, these Platonic solids nest within one another in many different ways.

Credit: Dr. Robert Moon

The geometry corresponding to each shell is as follows:

  • Red – Circle/Sphere or Oval – the familiar “Egg” shape
  • Orange – Icosahedron
  • Yellow – Octahedron
  • Green – Star Tetrahedron
  • Blue – Cube
  • Indigo – Dodecahedron
  • Violet – Icosahedron back to Sphere

Of course when we see many of the energy plexi weakened and blocked, we may understand that an entity has not yet grasped the baton and begun the race.

However, the potentials are always there. All the rays fully balanced are there in waiting to be activated.

Another Example of Balanced Chakras:

In the fully potentiated entity the rays mount one upon the other with equal vibratory brilliance and scintillating sheen until the surrounding color is white.

This is what you may call potentiated balance in third density.

In positively oriented entities the configuration is even, crystallinely clear, and of the seven ray description.

We have, many times now, spoken about the relative importance of balancing as opposed to the relative unimportance of maximal activation of each energy center. The reason is that when the Creator’s light is split or divided into colors and energy centers for experience, then in order to reunite with the Creator the energy centers must be balanced exactly the same as the split light was as it originated from the Creator.

The Disciplined Personality

An entity may at any time instantaneously clear and balance its energy centers. Thus in many cases those normally quite blocked, weakened, and distorted may, through love and strength of will, become healers momentarily.

To be a healer by nature one must indeed train its self in the disciplines of the personality.

The disciplined personality, when faced with an other self, has all centers balanced according to its unique balance.

Thusly the other-self looks in a mirror seeing itself.

The Heart of the Discipline of the Personality is Threefold:

One, know yourself.

Two, accept yourself.

Three, become the Creator.

The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves.

In relation to the pursuit of the magical working the continuing discipline of the personality involves the adept in knowing itself, accepting itself, and thus clearing the path towards the great indigo gateway to the Creator.

To become the Creator is to become all that there is.

As the consciousness of the indigo ray becomes more crystalline, more work may be done; more may be expressed from intelligent infinity.

Energy Fields and Energy Centers

The origin of all energy is the action of free will upon love.   (Recall how love is gravity, or the inward coalescing movement – the centripetal function.  Free will is consciousness.)

The nature of all energy is light.  (Recall how light – the photon – is the result of the movements of consciousness upon the inward drive towards unity which is gravity.  Light – the photon – is electromagnetic energy and is the outward movement – the centrifugal function.)  All energy is light means all in physical reality is made up of the photon.  We discussed this extensively in Cosmic Core in previous physics articles.

Robert Lawlor tells us in Homage to Pythagoras: “Celestial influences may manifest fully on earth only through the medium of the human mind and body, and it is through these instruments that these influences may be controlled, balanced, harmonized and directed toward attaining their ultimate universal goal.  But in order for this instrument to be effective, an awareness is required of how these influences enter into the body-mind and activate the field of human experience and behavior.  It could be said that the Human Being has the potential to structure the Universe through a conscious structuring of its own mind and body.”

The means of its (energy/light) ingress into the mind/body/spirit complex is duple:

  1. First, there is the inner light which is Polaris of the self, the guiding star. This is the birthright and true nature of all entities. This energy dwells within.

  1. The second point of ingress is the polar opposite of the North Star and may be seen, if you wish to use the physical body as an analog for the magnetic field, as coming through the feet from the earth and through the lower point of the spine.

This point of ingress of the universal light energy is undifferentiated until it begins its filtering process through the energy centers. The requirements of each center and the efficiency with which the individual has learned to tap into the inner light determine the nature of the use made by the entity of these instreamings.

This means that the undifferentiated light (full color spectrum) flows inwards and upwards in the individual.  If the individual is balanced, the energy continues to spiral upwards without losing much affect.  If the individual is unbalanced, then the energy flowing in will be used accordingly to attempt to balance, unblock, and heal each individual energy center, based upon what is needed.

One who is more balanced will have more energy available to use for service, creativity, growth, and evolution, rather than being used to heal and balance.  There will be more available energy to be used to radiate outwards to others rather than be used for oneself in healing.

*An important note here – Remember, in Cosmic Core, when we use the nebulous term ‘energy’ we are referring to wave structure – wavelengths, frequencies and harmonics.  Each color obviously has a different wavelength and undifferentiated light contains all wavelengths.  In chakra balancing, the wavelengths needed to balance a particular chakra will be filtered out to use for healing.  If it is not needed for healing it will continue upwards to be used for higher purposes of service, creativity, growth and evolution.

Planetary and Human Energy Fields

There is a correlation between the energy field of a human being and planetary bodies, for all material is constructed by means of the dynamic tension of the magnetic field.  The lines of force in both cases may be seen to be much like the interweaving spirals of the braided hair.

Thus positive and negative wind and interweave forming geometric relationships in the energy fields of both persons and planets.

The negative pole is the south pole or the lower pole.

The north or upper pole is positive.

The crisscrossing of these spiraling energies form primary, secondary, and tertiary energy centers.

You are familiar with the primary energy centers (7 main chakras) of the physical, mental, and spiritual body complex.

Secondary points of the crisscrossing of positive and negative center orientation revolve about several of your centers.

The yellow-ray center may be seen to have secondary energy centers in elbow, in knee, and in the subtle bodies at a slight spacing from the physical vehicle at points describing diamonds about the entity’s navel area surrounding the body.

You may discover other secondary centers related to other chakras if you attempt contemplation of these areas.

Kundalini – Raising your Consciousness

“Different spiritual traditions teach methods of awakening the kundalini for the purpose of reaching spiritual enlightenment and a range of supernormal powers.”1

“Kundalini is a Sanskrit term from ancient India that identifies the arising of an energy and consciousness which has been coiled at the base of the spine since birth, and is the source of the life force (pranic energy, chi, bio-energy).”2

What this Kundalini awakening refers to is the balancing of the chakras so the undifferentiated (infinite wavelengths) can reach your 6th and 7th chakras without weakening or having many wavelengths filtered out.

The most important concept to grasp about the energy field is that the lower or negative pole will draw the universal energy into itself from the cosmos.

Therefrom it will move upward to be met and reacted to by the positive spiraling energy moving downward from within.

The measure of an entity’s level of ray activity is the locus wherein the south pole outer energy has been met by the inner spiraling positive energy.  This means a balanced individual will have that meeting place (locus) of Cosmic and Inner energies higher up in the 6th or 7th chakras, rather than lower down.

As an entity grows more polarized this locus will move upwards. This phenomenon has been called by your peoples the kundalini.

However, it may better be thought of as the meeting place of cosmic and inner vibratory understanding.

To attempt to raise the locus of this meeting without realizing the metaphysical principles of magnetism upon which this depends is to invite great imbalance.

This means this energy can be misused and cause great damage if not understood.  This activation must be done for the purposes of raising to your highest potential for the greatest good – not for your own individual good.  If used selfishly, it will cause great imbalance which will manifest as disasters in your life, whether physical health issues, insanity, disastrous relationships, criminal, manipulative, or controlling activities, or harmful actions against others which will return to yourself.

The metaphor of the coiled serpent being called upwards is vastly appropriate for consideration by your peoples. This is what you are attempting when you seek.

We have two types of energy. We are attempting then, as entities in any true color of this octave, to move the meeting place of inner and outer natures further and further along or upward along the energy centers.

The two methods of approaching this with sensible methods are first, the seating within one’s self of those experiences which are attracted to the entity through the south pole. Each experience will need to be observed, experienced, balanced, accepted, and seated within the individual.

As the entity grows in self-acceptance and awareness of catalyst the location of the comfortable seating of these experiences will rise to the new true-color entity.

Each experience, whatever it may be, will be sequentially understood by the growing and seeking human in terms of survival, then in terms of personal identity, then in terms of social relations, then in terms of universal love, then in terms of how the experience may beget free communication, then in terms of how the experience may be linked to universal energies, and finally in terms of the sacramental nature of each experience.

Meanwhile the Creator lies within. In the north pole the crown is already upon the head and the entity is potentially a god. This energy is brought into being by the humble and trusting acceptance of this energy through meditation and contemplation of the self and of the Creator.

Where these energies meet is where the serpent will have achieved its height.

The south or negative pole is one which attracts. It pulls unto itself those things magnetized to it. So with the mind/body/spirit complex. The in-flow of experience is of the south pole influx. You may consider this a simplistic statement.

The instreamings of energy are felt by the energy centers which need, and are prepared for activation. Thus those who feel the stimulation at violet-ray level are getting just that. Those feeling it within the forehead between the brows are experiencing indigo ray and so forth.

Those experiencing tingling and visual images are having some blockage in the energy center being activated and thus the electrical body spreads this energy out and its effect is diffused.

Those not desirous of experiencing these sensations and activations and changes even upon the subconscious level will not experience anything due to their abilities at defense and armoring against change.  (Here we see that experience will conform to belief.)

We have, coming through the feet and base of the spine, the total energy that the mind/body/spirit complex will receive in the way of what we call light.

Each energy center as it is met filters out and uses a portion of this energy, red through indigo.

The violet ray is a thermometer or indicator of the whole.

In the fully activated entity, only that small portion of instreaming light needed to tune the energy center is used, the great remainder being free to be channeled and attracted upwards.

Chakra Geometry

We will now take a quick look at the geometry of the chakra system as related to the Platonic solids.  This information is sourced from Drunvalo Melchizadek’s Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life.  He refers to the 8-chakra system, which is the same as the 7-chakra system we have been discussing.  They both imply octaves of chakras.  There are 7 chakras with the 8th chakra being the first of the next octave.

The 7-chakra (octave) system, egg of life, and 8 internal electric circuits of Chinese medicine are all related to the cube/star tetrahedron.

The 8-chakra system is based on the Egg of Life.  The Egg of Life is composed of 8 spheres – 4 spheres as a square stacked on 4 other spheres as a square.  Pictured below you can see 7 of the 8 spheres.

Credit: Daniel M. Short

If you unfold the egg of life into a chain, keeping the half-steps in place it will illustrate the 8 chakra system.

Credit: Drunvalo Melchizadek – The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life Volume 2

There is a change in direction in half steps between the 3rd and 4th and 7th and 8th.  There is also a special change between 4th and 5th.  This was first noted by George Gurdjieff (1860s or 70s-1949) the 20th century mystic, philosopher, spiritual teacher and composer.

In keeping with our current discussion, “Gurdjieff taught that most humans do not possess a unified mind-emotion-body consciousness and thus live their lives in a state of hypnotic ‘waking sleep,’ but that it is possible to transcend to a higher state of consciousness and achieve full human potential. Gurdjieff described a method attempting to do so, calling the discipline ‘The Work’ (connoting ‘work on oneself’) or ‘the Method’.”3

These same movements seen above are found in the harmonics of music.

“In the musical scale of any major key, there is a half step between the third and fourth notes and the seventh and eighth notes.”4

The Star Tetrahedron contains 8 spheres as pictured below.  The 8th sphere is unseen.  It lies directly behind the central sphere.  There are 4 points to each tetrahedron.  The two tetrahedra together create 8 points – thus 8 spheres.

There are also spheres of energy at the points of the star tetrahedrons around the body.

“Each inner chakra has a living pulse associated with each external chakra and the system as a whole.”5

“Although we have been talking about one channel that connects all the chakras that the energy flows through, there are actually five different channels and four additional chakras associated with each major chakra.

They are set out in a horizontal line, 90 degrees to the vertical, and they rotate in 90-degree increments as they rise up the central column.”6

Credit: Drunvalo Melchizadek – The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, Volume 2

The five channels originate at the following areas:

  1. penis/clitoris
  2. scrotum/vagina
  3. perineum
  4. anus
  5. coccyx

“To illustrate, let’s say it rotates counterclockwise.  When it comes to the second chakra, its rotation would face toward the left.  At the third chakra, it would face the back.  At the fourth chakra, the solar plexus, it would face to the right.  And when it spirals upward to the sternum, the lower heart chakra, it has returned to its original direction, facing front again.

So the heart chakra is different because it knows the whole pattern.  The energy has made one full circle of 360 degrees.”7

“This also happens with a sine-wave curve or light wave.  It has five places to complete itself.”8

Egyptian Energy Body & 13-Chakra System

In The Geometry of the End of Time Robert Lawlor discusses the ancient Egyptian system of the energetic body and its relationship to the chakras.  This energetic body supports and sustains the physical formation and its processes.  The four aspects of the Egyptian energy body are the KHA, AKH, BA, and KA.

KHA (Ego) – The physical body

BA (Buddhi) – The soul or spirit-essence related to both an individual incarnation as well as to collective, ancestral and universal spirit principles.

By means of the five sense, the KHA opens a window upon the physical world which is otherwise unavailable to the BA (soul).

AKH (Atman) – the light of a pure spirit or consciousness that pre-exists the physical creation.  This also represents the incarnate light of the Sun.

KA (Manas) – the radiating seven-fold energetic field enveloping the body that is engaged in the physical process.  It is attached to the chakras, the seven psycho-neural centers along the spine.  It is from these seven centers that the forces which create and maintain the flesh or body arise.  In the energy system of the chakras, the meridian expands with the growth and clarity of individual consciousness.  Likewise the enveloping energy field of being (the KA) proportionally expands and becomes more luminous.  The concept of the KA is parallel to the concept of the soul in Christianity, the concept of charisma to the ancient Greeks and the concept of the Flame Body to the Gnostics.

Aging of the physical body is due less to deterioration and more to a transferal of focus from the KHA to the KA (subtle body).

The KA and BA (the two-fold morphic field) both survive the death of the body and post-mortem they journey out through the planetary orbital system to the entrance of the Realm of the Dead.  The role of KA is the message or word during life and the BA is the messenger or voice.  In death however, the KA is the messenger (voice) and the BA is the message (word).  As Kabbalist Samuel Avital stated, “I am not simply a human being.  I am a ‘human becoming’ and this becoming is occurring cosmically on every imaginable level.”

The Atman (AKH), Buddhi (BA) and Manas (KA) are higher and descend towards the incarnated ego and represent the realized and perfected potential of the physical ensouled and spirited being of our species.

“The Etheric, Astral, and Ego are lower and are in various states of transforming into the upper triad.

The Etheric transforms into the Buddhi, the Astral into Manas, and the Ego into Atman.  Each of these six elements engaged in this transformation of our species is grounded upon the physical manifestation, the KHA, or physical body, whose ultimate realization and perfection is the goal and meaning of the entire sevenfold universal process.

This opposition and inversion in Egyptian thought suggests a profound hidden complementation.  The immortal AKH or infinite pure spirit consciousness, after it descends and incarnates in KHA or perishable physical matter, becomes conscious of itself in the conditions opposite to its pre-existent status.  The AKH then returns to its former immaterial self, enriched with the knowledge from its self-created inversed reflection, as it is expressed in every form, quality and creature of the physical world.

The next stage, Buddhi, is the experience of the isolated organism in sensing a union with the entire creation.  As the Egyptians described this unity, “Humankind and the universe are one.”  Manas is the realization of the unity of the individual with the entirety of humankind including the living, unborn and the dead.”

Robert Lawlor tells us that “The Egyptians believed that ultimately the source and duality of the luminosity surrounding humans and other living creatures was dependent upon a harmonic receptivity between life on Earth and the fields of force pouring down from the heavens.  It was also believed that this receptivity was the primary function of the chakras.”

We will now briefly discuss the 13-chakra system as described by Drunvalo Melchizadek.

“In the chromatic scale, best seen on piano keys, adding the five black keys to the eight white keys that make up the C major scale totals 13 notes.  In other words, when you add the pentatonic scale of the five black keys (C# D# F# G# A#) to the C major scale (the white keys C D E F G A B C) you get the chromatic scale.”9

Beginning with ‘do’ (or C) we have the following chromatic scale:

C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A#, B, C

“The half steps are between E and F and between B and C.  The special void between the 4th and 5th note of an octave in between F and G, is where the second tetrachord begins”10

Musical Notes – The Octave and the Tetrahedron

“Using the classical Western system of the octave as shown on the piano, the note ‘do’ enters the star tetrahedron of the Egg of Life at the bottom point (vertex) of the downward pointing tetrahedron…The energy coming into a vertex has three planes (A, B or C) to move along.

To show the energy flow here we’ll start in the middle/top.  Once a plane has been chosen, it must move in that triangular plane, which gives it the next two notes, ‘re’ and ‘mi’, as the other two points on that plane.

The movement takes place on one triangular plane and the distance between the notes is exactly the same.  However, to reach the fourth and last note, ‘fa’, and complete this tetrahedron, it must change to a new plane (half step), thus change its direction.”11

“When spirit looks at the movement on one plane of the tetrahedron and a change of direction occurs, the shadow form of the 2D world (the distance traveled is seen as a shadow) appears about half the distance of the first two movements on the triangular plane. Geometrically, the shadow is slightly longer than half.  It is labeled a half step.  In truth, it is the same distance as the other three notes, but experientially for spirit, it seems like a half movement, which results in this world as a half step between ‘mi’ and ‘fa’, because, as we said, the 2D world is the source.  Now the first tetrahedron is complete.

At this point the energy must change to the upward-pointing tetrahedron, but the plane on which it must move is restricted to the horizontal plane at the bottom.  After choosing one of the three available vertexes for ‘sol’ (5 on the left), it chooses ‘la’ and ‘ti’ to complete that plane.

The energy must change direction again to complete itself, just as it did before.  It makes this directional change to reach the last note, ‘do’, which becomes the first note of the next tetrahedron.

There are octaves above and below this one, which theoretically continue forever.”12

Human Chakras and the Musical Scale

“Notice the three lower chakras.  The first one is near the base of the spine, the second one is 7.23 cm higher, topographically and the third one is 7.23 cm above that.  This is an average for all humans.  After the third chakra, there is a change in direction at the ‘wall’ shown above it, which we’ll call a half step.

The rest of the chakras are not apparent because of the half-step wall.  The half step hides the higher chakras from spirit, at least until spirit has learned to master the lower chakras and wisdom showed the way into the higher understanding.”13

“Once this half step is found and passed, the energy flows to the heart, the throat, the pituitary gland and the pineal gland before it encounters another wall/half step that again stops the flow.  This ‘wall’ is located between the back of the head and the pituitary gland and is perpendicular to the plane of the first wall.  Once the energy has moved past this second half step, it reaches the 8th and final chakra of this octave.  This chakra, in Hindi, is called the Godhead, for it is the goal of all life.  It is located exactly one hand-length above your head.”14

The 8th chakra is just the beginning, or first note, of another set of chakras above the head.

The energy always moves up in a spiral.  It can rotate or counter-rotate.

Conclusion

There is a lot of information contained within this article.  The most important concept to understand is that we have spiritual bodies as well as physical bodies.  These represent various levels of understanding.  We must learn to balance these bodies/chakras in order to rise to our highest potential for the greatest good.

The most important aspect to learn is balance.  Balance leads to peace, health, vitality, compassion, wisdom, prosperity and spiritual understanding.  This balance is achieved by investigating our consciousness – our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, intentions, desires, regrets, doubts, fears…etc.  We must learn to face ourselves, to confront our minds and emotions and learn how to heal and transform for the greatest good.

“In order to change the world, we must first change ourselves.”  Mahatma Gandhi
